The Diary Shelf
The video diary is where this experiment gets said out loud. Almost none of it is public — and that is the design. An entry appears on this shelf only when Matthew marked that entry publishable, and his words appear only where he marked that exact line. Everything else stays in the studio: counted below, never shown.
Two separate permissions stand between a recording and this page. The first says an entry may be referred to at all; without it the entry is not on this shelf in any form — not blurred, not locked, not listed. The second is per line: during a session close he can mark one sentence publishable, and only that exact sentence is ever quoted. A card can therefore carry his day and his day-mark and none of his words. That is the normal case, not a failure of one.
Each card’s mark is the same daily fingerprint the cockpit draws for that date — computed from that day’s real numbers, so a thin day shows a thin mark and the glow stays earned.
